John Rother is an experienced portrait, modeling and commercial photographer from London, his largest volume of work is received through recommendation and from regular commercial clients.

Passionate about photography, John is continually looking to further his portfolio and the angle from which he approaches his work to produce unique images.

John enjoys working with a variety of subjects and media across many locations both indoor and out, he believes that the true art of photography lays in the preparation and initial idea. He loves to work closely with everyone involved in each shot, from makeup artists and stylists to lighting crew and graphic designers.

John's hands-on knowledge of imaging software allows him to take photography and editing of images to a higher level working more closely through to the final production of each photo.

John uses Canon and Nikon cameras and a wide range of Sigma, Tameron Cannon and Nikkor lenses with a variety of flashguns including the Cannon SpeedLight and Metz, these are often used together with various lighting equipment for studio work.

John's images are used for commercial brochures and websites, he has successfully sold still-life prints from his portfolio to photography enthusiasts, commercial companies and the general public.
